This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is a high-end Smokey & The Bandit style restomod that has been fully restored and upgraded with modern performance components while retaining the iconic Y84 appearance. Power comes from a cammed LS3 engine paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, delivering modern reliability with strong performance. The drivetrain is supported by a posi 3.73 rear end and a full Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake setup featuring 6-piston front calipers with 13-inch rotors and 4-piston rear calipers with 11-inch rotors.

The car sits on custom 19-inch honeycomb snowflake-style wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 run-flat tires. Suspension and chassis components have been upgraded to handle the additional power while maintaining street drivability.

The interior has been completely redone with matching Recaro seats front and rear, custom suede 3-spoke steering wheel, roll bar, vintage A/C system, and retro-style stereo. The car is fully loaded with power options and retains T-tops along with the rare factory-style 3-piece rear louver. This car also carries the Y84 package styling and is built to resemble a modernized Bandit Trans Am.
