1977 Datsun 280Z — Turbo Build, 400HP, Fully Modified

This 1977 Datsun 280Z has been extensively built using a turbocharged drivetrain sourced from a 1983 280ZX and upgraded with numerous performance and cosmetic modifications throughout. Finished in Red exterior over Black interior, the car has been carefully assembled with high-quality components to create a powerful and unique Z build.

The drivetrain consists of a turbocharged L28 engine and transmission from a 1983 280ZX, upgraded with a modified Garrett T4 turbocharger, custom intercooler setup, Greddy blow-off valve, Microtech standalone ECU, and Techno Toy tuning. The engine is supported by a custom stainless 3-inch exhaust and downpipe and has been dyno tested at approximately 400 horsepower at 18 lbs of boost.

Suspension and chassis upgrades include Evolve coilovers, upgraded lower control arms, strut tower brace, and a full roll bar. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood full disc brakes.

The exterior features 240Z aluminum front and rear bumpers, JDM aluminum fender mirrors, custom front grille, front spoiler, headlight covers, and fender flares. The car sits on staggered Ewing Work wheels measuring 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear.

The interior has been upgraded with Recaro seats, custom red seat belts, Nardi steering wheel and shift knob, Kenwood stereo system, and a rear-view mirror backup camera with front and rear vision.
